Terms
Terms
Plain terms for reading Haven Protocol and taking part as a Founding Reader. Paid access is processed through Stripe Checkout where an eligible payment method is available.
These title-specific terms supplement the dated Reader Library Terms of Use and Sale, which control purchases and Reader Library use.
What a pass gives you
Monthly and annual Reader plans renew until canceled. While active, they grant access to scheduled subscriber previews, structured surveys when open, and member media only when that media is specifically listed. A Permanent Edition is a one-time purchase granting permanent digital access to Haven Protocol's current and future chapters and a downloadable completed digital edition. No physical edition is included.
Work in progress
Haven Protocol is released during development. Chapters may be revised, reordered, expanded, or rewritten. Release timing is not guaranteed.
Reader feedback and submissions
Founding Readers may submit feedback through structured surveys when a survey is open.
- Feedback may inform the manuscript. It may equally not.
- Submitting feedback, survey responses, suggestions, or ideas does not create co-authorship, ownership, or any other rights in the resulting story.
- Final creative decisions always remain with the author.
- There is no obligation to use, credit, or respond to any submission.
- Please do not submit material you are not free to share.
You keep ownership of your original feedback and grant the author the feedback license stated in the Reader Library Terms. There is no obligation to use, credit, compensate, or respond to a submission.
The story is the author’s
Haven Protocol and The Long Return Saga, including text, characters, and artwork, remain the property of the author. A reader pass grants access to read, not a licence to redistribute or republish.
Refunds
Monthly and annual charges are eligible for a full refund when requested within seven calendar days of the charge. Permanent purchases are eligible for a full refund when requested within fourteen calendar days of the charge. After those windows, the standard policy does not provide prorated refunds.
Canceling a subscription stops its next renewal and leaves access active through the paid-through date. Refunding a charge revokes the paid access created by that charge. Duplicate charges, unresolved access failures, suspected fraud, and refunds required by applicable law are handled separately. This policy does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
